Vi vidste allerede godt at Virtuos arbejdede på en dedikeret PS5/Xbox Series-udgave af The Outer Worlds, og vi vidste også at den ville hedde Spacer's Choice Edition. Noget tyder dog på fans ikke er så tilfredse med det endelige produkt.
Det vælter praktisk talt ind med negative anmeldelser på spillets Steam-side, og hvorimod "review bombing" som regel er et oprør mod et spils indhold, så handler det denne gang tilsyneladende om at selve opgraderingen virkelig ikke pengene værd.
Angiveligt er Spacer's Choice Edition endnu et eksempel på en rigtig ringe PC-udgave fyldt med fejl, ringe billedehastighed og dårlig optimering.

"I did the $9 upgrade just to see what the fuss was about. Everyone is correct, the frame rate is abhorrent. Somehow they managed to make 80fps feel like 20 with an insane amount of micro-stuttering. I would wait for the developer to fix it, or give a shot if you don't mind throwing $9 in the trash," skriver en anden.
