Anyone's Diary er et frisk VR puzzle platformsspil

We catch up with WDP to learn more about their black and white third-person puzzler.

Anyone's Diary var omkring de tre indie-titler, som blev udvalgt af Rami Ismail ved dette års Gamelab. Men allerede før sin succes i Barcelona, fik GRTV en snak med programmør og game designer Sara Costa for at lære mere.

"It's a third-person videogame, which is a weird thing in VR", forklarer Costa. "It's a puzzle platformer where you can move the character (who's called Anyone) and you can also move some parts of the world to solve the puzzles and help it to overcome the whole level".

"In terms of concept development, the game was meant to be "an origami-style" sidescroller based on the pop-up book idea (as its logo reflects), but after some investigation and testing, it ended up like this fresh concept, which will last for about two hours. In terms of narrative, it's been inspired by Limbo, and thus it's going to tell a subtle, "open story, but we're giving you some steps".

Anyone's Diary startede som et studieprojekt og er "meget" tidligt i sin udvikling, hvorfor det mangler nogle år før det er færdigt. World Domination Project leder lige nu efter en udgiver, som kan hjælpe med at føre projektet til nye højder. Det fulde interview inkluderer også en HTC-vive demo.
