Phil Spencer: "Cult of the Lamb bør være med i Game of the Year-diskussionen"

Selvom at de fleste nok enten tænker Elden Ring eller God of War: Ragnarök når de tænker Game of the Year, så mener Xbox-chefen Phil Spencer at vi alle forbigår et spil der bør være med i de samtaler - nemlig Massive Monsters Cult of the Lamb.

Spillet landede på blandt andet Xbox tilbage i august, og Phil Spencer har nydt det så meget, at han anbefaler medier og forbrugere at tænke på det som en kandidat. Han medvirkede for nylig i Same Brain podcast, og sagde følgende:

"Satanic Animal Crossing, is what I call it. Literally, I believe Cult of the Lamb should be in the Game of the Year award discussion, that's my point of view. [It's] fantastic. You have a cult, you have a world — it's not an island, but you've got your little cult area that you build out, [and] then you go on these column dungeon runs to level up, gain resources... It is tongue-in-cheek hilarious, it's got this really cute art style and then you realize you're sacrificing your guys..."
