Crystal Dynamics svarer halvt igen på klager om tilføjelsen af XP boostere i Marvel's Avengers

Til trods for at de gentagne gange lovede at de ikke ville tilføje pay-to-win mekanikker i Marvel's Avengers, så har spillet nu netop det, mere specifikt i form af XP Boostere, som gør at du kan stige i niveau hurtigere end dem der ikke betaler rigtige penge.

Crystal Dynamics har endnu ikke kommenteret direkte på anklagerne fra mange, mange tusinde fans, men har i stedet valgt at fokusere... på måden hvorpå nogle af disse fans har udtrykt deres utilfredshed. På spillets Reddit-side har de pinnet en post, hvor der står følgende:

"Decisions at the studio are not made by one person, they're made by a group of studio leaders. We welcome feedback, but it's not appropriate to target, threaten, or personally attack our community team. They are here to champion your concerns and give voice to them."

Fans har kommenteret på det her indlæg, og har udtrykt deres frustration:

"I don't condone personal attacks against individuals, but this entire debacle really needs to be addressed. If you don't want people venting their frustrations against the devs and CMs (who've done nothing wrong) then maybe you should ask one of the higher ups who does make these decisions to join your next stream."

Og:

"You can't keep ignoring the polite and constructive criticism that make up the MAJORITY of the sub, highlight the very few toxic menaces that resort to name calling, then go silent. At this point it feels insulting. You keep making these frustrating decisions while simultaneously avoiding the community. "
