Ninja Theory fik stor succes med det originale Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice, et spil der skulle høste adskillige Game of the Year-priser, og særligt blive rost for den detaljerige grafik, og de flotte produktionsværdier.
Men spørger du studiet selv, så er det kommende Senua's Saga: Hellblade II i en helt, helt anden liga sammenlignet med originalen. Faktisk siger medstifter Tameem Antoniades i et interview med NME, at det vil komme til at ligne et indie-spil til sammenligning:
"The goal with Hellblade 2 isn't to perfect it, but to create an experience that feels more believable and more refined. Its ambition in terms of scale is bigger. I think Hellblade 2 will make Hellblade look like an indie game."
"The idea is believability - making things look real or believable - and the best way to do that is to base everything on real things."
