Neill Blomkamp synes at spiludvikling er "creatively quite cool"

Gunzilla Games' spil Off the Grid, der ledes an af instruktøren bag blandt andet District 9, Neill Blomkamp, er på vej, og fik en CG teaser under Gamescom i år.

Spillet er allerede nu lettere kontroversielt, eftersom at Gunzilla allerede har løftet sløret for en dertilhørende NFT-platform før vi overhovedet har set gameplay. Men Blomkamp synes stadig at det er en sjov kreativ udfordring.

Vi snakkede med ham under Gamescom, hvor han siger følgende:

"I'm finding game development to be creatively quite cool," Blomkamp told us. "It's a longer process than filmmaking, and it kind of feels like you're in the post-production part of filmmaking all the time, which is nice. It's kind of a depressurised situation where you can take your time, but it's good, I feel creatively into what we're doing, and I think it's going to be cool. We have a lot of work ahead of us."
