Nyt fransk CS:GO-hold afsløret af G2 Esports

G2 Esports har afsløret nogle helt nye holdtilføjelser på deres nye CS:GO-hold, deriblandt Kenny "kennyS" Schrub, Dan "apEX" Madesclaire og Nathan "NBK" Schmitt, som alle kommer Team EnVyUs, som de vandt internationale turneringer såsom DreamHack Open Cluj-Napoca Major med i 2015.

De nye tilføjelser til holdet kommer til at arbejde sammen med Richard "shox" Papillon og Alexandre "body" Pianaro, som begge har underskrevet nye kontrakter med klubben. Aftalen konstituerer den største investering G2 nogensinde har lavet. Edouard "SmithZz" Dubourdeaux går fra spiller til træner.

Alle disse ændringer betyder dog, at Cédric "RpK" Guipouy og Adil "ScreaM" Benrlitom forlader G2. Begge disse spillere var en stor del af holdets succes, så de vil blive savnet.

G2 Esports-grundlæggeren og CEO, Carlos "ocelote" Rodríguez har sagt:

In light of your support and the continued growth of CS:GO as an esports game we decided to increase our commitment in our CS:GO roster significantly with the signing of this superteam."

Holdkaptajnen tilføjer:

"In April 2016, I took up the roles of captain and in-game leader, which I have taken to heart and has represented one of my biggest challenges in terms of personal investment. Despite a promising start at the ESL Pro League finals and ECS, it became apparent at the end of the year that something was missing in the team for it to be consistently at the top."
