G2 redesigner deres League of Legends-hold

G2 Esports har haft et lidt skuffende 2021 når det gælder League of Legends, for de formåede faktisk slet ikke at kvalificere sig til World Championship, og vandt heller ej LEC 2021 Spring eller Summer Playoffs. Derfor synes organisationen det nu nødvendigt at genopbygge den del af virksomheden.

G2's CEO, Carlos "Ocelote" Rodriguez har nu udgivet en video via Twitter, hvor han forklarer hvordan han vil opdatere holdet:

"As you guys know already, 2021 League of Legends for G2 wasn't good, specifically considering the fact that we want to win Worlds, and that is actually our goal, to win Worlds, and everything we have done since the inception of G2 and everything we are doing right now is to win Worlds."

"As a result of these discussions, we have decided to bench and look to trade Wunder, Mikyx, Rekkles, Grabbz, and Nelson, and look to also replace the rest of the support staff."
