David Jaffe ved ikke om han vil lave spil mere

David Jaffe er blandt spilbranchens mest ikoniske skabere, og han er både en af skaberne bag den originale God of War-trilogi, og han har også instrueret adskillige Twisted Metal-spil. Efterfølgende skabte han sit eget studie, The Barslet Jones Supernatural Detective Agency, men deres første spil, Drawn to Death, blev ikke den succes de havde håbet på, og dermed blev studiet ganske hurtigt lukket. Nu ved Jaffe slet ikke om han vil fortsætte.

For nylig dukkede han op som gæst i Colin Moriartys Colin's Last Stand Fireside Chats, og her udtrykte han tvivl om hans videre færd i branchen.

"As for whether I'll make another game or not, I don't know. I don't have any plans right now, and I don't really have any ambition to right now. I think if I were to make another game it would be harder to imagine doing it with the kind of stuff I've done in the past. If you look at what Sony is doing right now, it's amazing, I'm obsessed with Spider-Man right now .... but what they make these days is so different with the kind of stuff I'm vibing with right now."

Jaffe noterede dog, at skulle han fortsætte så ville det blive via mindre titler.
