Bekræftet: Astro Bot får gratis udvidelse og den lander allerede i år

I et interview med YouTube kanalen Quest Daily, har Astro Bot director og studio director hos Team Asobi, Nicolas Doucet, afsløret, at Astro Bot vil få "mindst 15 playful speed run levels" og at de vil lande her i løbet af 2024.

Disse nye speedrun levels vil også indeholde nye VIP bots og hvis vi kan regne med spillets credits, hvor der optræder credits til spilserier, som ikke har VIP bots i selve hovedspillet, så vil disse VIP bots komme fra spil som Rayman, Stellar Blade og Assassin's Creed.

Nicolas Doucet siger i interviewet:

It will be smaller. It's not going to be like, you know, a huge, huge amount, but it will be focusing on one of the features that people enjoyed in Astro's Playroom- that was the speedruns. You know, there were some speedruns, and the levels were quite short, but it was the fact that you could replay and keep shaving time off... with some new VIP bots to rescue, so some characters we didn't include yet will appear. But yeah, that's going to come, and that's going to focus really on kind-of challenging levels.

Han bekræfter også, at disse speed run levels vil inkludere leaderboards.
